Terms of Service
This service provides cat guardians with an oral-health reference check. AI analysis results are reference information, not a definitive veterinary diagnosis, and do not replace care from a veterinarian.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the basic rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions, and procedures between VetTree Limited Liability Company (the "Company") and users in connection with the AIVetTree service (the "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the cat oral-photo AI analysis and record service, and related additional services, that the Company provides through web and mobile channels.
- "User" means a member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms.
- "Member" means a person who registers an account and uses the Service on an ongoing basis.
Article 3 (Effect and amendment of the Terms)
- These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or otherwise announced to users.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. The effective date and reason will be announced at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for a material or unfavorable change.
- A user who does not agree to amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw membership.
Article 4 (Service content)
- The Company provides the following services.
- Upload of cat oral photos and videos and AI-based reference analysis of oral condition
- Storage of analysis results in the diary and gallery, and review of changes over time
- Reference information and guidance about oral health
- Other additional services determined by the Company
- The Service’s AI analysis results are provided as reference information about possible findings or conditions to observe. They do not replace a veterinarian’s diagnosis, care, or prescription. Users must seek veterinary care when they suspect an abnormality.
- The Company may change Service content or features to improve service quality.
Article 5 (Registration and accounts)
- Users may register under the Company’s procedure using email or a supported social account, including Kakao, Naver, or Google.
- Users must provide accurate account information and are responsible for managing their accounts. Unauthorized use must be reported to the Company immediately.
- A child under 14 may not register without consent from a legal representative.
Article 6 (Paid services and payment)
- The Company offers paid services including check credits (one-time) and recurring subscriptions. The terms, prices, and credit deduction rules for each product are posted on the in-app payment screen.
- A photo check deducts 1 credit and a video or real-time check deducts 3 credits per use. Free credits may be provided upon registration.
- Subscription products (Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly) are automatically charged and renewed through the user’s registered payment method according to the billing cycle, and credits are granted periodically.
- Payments are processed through a payment gateway (PG) designated by the Company.
- Prices may change after prior notice, and changed prices apply to new payments and the next renewal after the notice.
Article 7 (Withdrawal, refunds, and subscription cancellation)
- Withdrawal (7 days): A user may withdraw the purchase and receive a full refund within 7 days of payment if no check credit has been used.
- Credit refunds: If any check credit has been used, that payment is non-refundable; a full refund is provided only when no credit has been used.
- Monthly subscription cancellation: A user may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, auto-renewal stops from the next billing date; the amount already charged for the current cycle is non-refundable, and the service remains available until the end of that billing cycle.
- Yearly subscription cancellation: If a yearly subscription is canceled mid-term, the unused remaining months are refunded on a pro-rata basis. Any discount applied to the yearly payment may be adjusted based on the standard (monthly) price for the period actually used.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method and may take business days depending on the policies of the payment gateway and card issuer.
- If the service is defective or not provided normally due to the Company’s fault, refunds are made in accordance with applicable law.
These refund and cancellation provisions do not limit the consumer rights guaranteed by applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
Article 8 (User obligations)
- Users must not misuse another person’s information or register false information.
- Users must not use the Service outside its intended purpose or interfere with its operation.
- Users may upload only images and videos that they own or are authorized to upload.
Article 9 (Intellectual property rights)
Intellectual property rights in the Service and its content, software, and trademarks belong to the Company. Users retain rights in content they upload. The Company may use that content within the scope necessary to provide and improve the Service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and separate consent.
Article 10 (Disclaimers and limits of liability)
- AI analysis results are reference information and do not confirm whether a specific disease is present or provide a diagnosis. Final decisions and care concerning a user’s cat must be made with a veterinarian.
- The Company is not liable for loss caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, causes attributable to the user, or failures of third-party services such as telecommunications providers.
- Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the Company is not liable in connection with use of services provided free of charge.
Article 11 (Dispute resolution and governing law)
- These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- If a dispute arises between the Company and a user regarding the Service, both parties will seek resolution through good-faith consultation. If no agreement is reached, the procedures and competent court prescribed by applicable law will apply.
